This 1942 American musical stars Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. At an inn that’s only open on holidays, a crooner and a hoofer vie for the affections of a beautiful up-and-coming performer. The film’s music was composed by Irving Berlin, one of the greatest songwriters in American history, and it launched the iconic worldwide hit “White Christmas,” which won an Academy Award for best original song.
